Many things are new. For one, this blog… I guess that’s what it is.
New? You might ask. No! You may protest. But then, it does look different, doesn’t it? That’s one thing – I’ve migrated to using the Headway framework with WordPress (on the recommendation of my sweet friend Jessica) and you will be seeing things change around here as a result. For the better.
It looks a little minimal, for now. There is a reason for this.
Other newness may not be as apparent, yet. It will become so, soon. I give my pledge to you now that I will be redoubling my practice. My heart is open, broken… but I will abide in equanimity and push forward with as much fierce courage as this warrior deems necessary. With a smile.
Sure, this sound cryptic (which is part of the habitual practice I am trying to whittle down) but the fact is I need to learn to censor myself less if I am ever going to communicate properly.
In other words, I’m going to be sharing a lot more. So far it’s been mostly fictional drivel interspersed with encrypted existential clap-trap rants. You can still expect plenty of that, but it will be watered down with plenty of personal history, artwork, explorations and the travelogue of a living bodhisattva on the path, living with chronic pain and learning to be compassionate with myself first.
Yes, things have changed. I have changed. My life is changing. The Universe has spoken and speaks and the Universe is we. I am what I will. I get that now.
Cheers. Welcome to the new era.
